MAV Preventing Violence Against Women Network
Membership
The Network is an inclusive group of Local Government representatives, (both Officers and elected Councillors) and key community partners, who work collaboratively to promote and progress the work of leading communities in the prevention of violence against women.
Meetings
The Network meets quarterly at the Municipal Association of Victoria, Level 12, 60 Collins Street Melbourne. Meetings are held 1pm to 3.30pm (with lunch provided). RSVP your attendance to sgale@mav.asn.au Meeting dates for 2012: Wednesday 14 March; 13 June; 12 September; 12 December. In place of the December 2011 meeting, we are hosting a forum showcasing local councils prevention practice on Wednesday 14th December 2011. See attached flyer for more information.

We are asking you to use this template and provide an update of your Council’s / Organisation’s recent activity and engagement with Preventing Violence Against Women (PVAW).
By collecting your stories, we will be able to learn / replicate / and be inspired by what's happening in other areas and contribute to an evolving mapping of PVAW activity in Victoria. Once you have completed this template, please save to your computer, and then 'Upload a Resource' via this website, selecting the LEAS Network Category from the drop-down menu.
